Heritage is a very important aspect of a country and is important for the development of a country. The various cultural heritages, the buildings, the forms of expressions of the people need to be protected.

The Heritage places not only contribute in the country’s but it also adds character and distinctiveness to an area, heritage is a fundamental in creating a 'sense of place' for a community.

I came from Agra where world’s famous TAJMAHAL is located. It is one of the seven wonders of the world. It is a sign of love. But this symbol of love is loosing it’s significance and it’s beautifulness with the time passes by.

The destruction of these places is occurring slowly-slowly due to many known factors.some of them are listed below;

1.     Lack of Master Plan: Except the world heritage sites e.g. Taj, Humayun’s Tomb, Ajanta, Ellora, Bodh Gaya etc. other monuments of national importanceface negligence of local or state administrations. The lack of proper master plan foster haphazard growth around the sites and as a result sites lose their charm

2.     Encroachments/illegal occupation: Encroachments around ancient monuments
